Refurbishment and Extension, BrisbaneBuilt more than 20 years ago, Park Village Shopping Centre in Brisbane’s western suburbs recently underwent a major redevelopment and modernisation including extensions to accommodate a new Coles supermarket, converting space for a former BI-LO supermarket to specialty stores, upgrading the services infrastructure, refurbishment and extension of the mall and shopping centre entries, and refurbishment of selected specialty stores. The project also included installation of a new main switchboard, and new air conditioning systems and new sprinklers throughout the centre. MultiTech met the client’s exacting requirements for design and construction, ensuring minimal disruption to trading and budget control during construction. We also assisted with contract administration to meet the changing requirements of the supermarket brief. Our people visited the site regularly to inspect and liaise with the construction team to provide fast resolution of building services issues or defects exposed by demolition. MultiTech Solutions provided design, documentation and contract administration of mechanical, electrical, fire and security services to the project. Location: Middle Park, Brisbane QLD
